Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new APIs, excipients, pharmaceutical raw materials and specialty ingredients for the Bangladesh market.
- Communicate with international manufacturers, suppliers and principals for product information, quotations and business opportunities.
- Collect and review technical and regulatory documents such as COA, Specification, TDS, GMP, DMF, CEP, MSDS, TSE/BSE, CTD etc.
- Prepare and submit product proposals, COAs, quotations and technical documents to pharmaceutical companies.
- Follow up with customers regarding product evaluation, samples, documentation, registration and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding sample requirements, specifications, MOQ, price and delivery terms.
- Conduct basic market research to identify new products and potential pharmaceutical customers.
- Maintain proper records of products, suppliers, customer inquiries, samples, quotations and project status.
- Support the Product Management team in business development, supplier meetings, and customer visits.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution of ongoing projects.
Requirements
- Age 22 to 35 years
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products, APIs, excipients, and basic regulatory documentation.
- Good communication skills in English and Bangla, especially email communication.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel.
- Ability to communicate professionally with both local pharmaceutical companies and international suppliers.
- Strong interest in business development and pharmaceutical raw-material business.
- Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn.
Educational Requirement
- Master of Science (MSc) in B.Pharm / M.Pharm from a recognized university
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) in B.Pharm / M.Pharm from a recognized university
Experience
- 1 to 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies
