Job Responsibilities
Chittagong Eye Infirmary and Training Complex (CEITC), a tertiary multidisciplinary institution is looking for eligible personnel for the following position: PROCUREMENT OFFICERJob responsibilities:
- Prepare purchase orders, procurement contracts, service agreements, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with Procurement Committee, Administration, Finance, Logistics and Maintenance teams to identify procurement needs and priorities.
- Conduct market assessments and supplier sourcing to identify qualified vendors and service providers.
- Develop and maintain an updated database of suppliers, contractors and service providers.
- Obtain and analyze competitive quotations from qualified suppliers.
- Bill process with proper supporting documents & submit to accounts & finance department.
- Ensuring compliance with institutional procurement policies.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties and other commercial conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and managing procurement logs.
- Monitor procurement timelines and ensure timely completion of all procurement actions.
- Builds and maintains professional relationships with suppliers and manages supplier performance effectively.
Requirements
- Age At most 35 years
- Minimum 05 years of working experience in procurement department in a renowned institution/ organization.
- Knowledge of ERP systems would be highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a strong team leader.
- Age: Not exceeding 35 years. Relaxable in case of highly experienced person.
Educational Requirement
- Minimum Graduate in business administration from reputed institution. Preferably PGD in Supply Chain Management.
Experience
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Diagnostic Centre
