Job Responsibilities
About the roleWe are looking for a self-driven sales professional to grow our air and sea freight business. You will win new clients, manage key accounts, and work closely with our operations and documentation teams to deliver reliable service.Responsibilities
- Generate leads and close new business for air freight, sea freight (FCL/LCL), and related services.
- Prepare competitive quotations and negotiate rates while protecting margin.
- Build long-term relationships with exporters, importers, buying houses, and e-commerce businesses.
- Coordinate with operations, documentation, and overseas agents to ensure smooth shipments.
- Work with accounts on invoicing and payment follow-up.
- Track pipeline and submit weekly reports on visits, quotes, and conversions.
- Meet monthly and quarterly targets for volume and gross profit.
Requirements
- Age 30 to 45 years
- Only Male
- 2-5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, shipping lines, airlines/GSA, or related logistics services.
- Solid knowledge of air freight (chargeable weight, airline rates, surcharges, AWB) and sea freight (CBM, container types, FCL/LCL, B/L, shipping line charges).
- Understanding of Incoterms, HS codes, and Bangladesh export/import documentation.
- Strong spoken and written English and Bangla.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, email, and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel for client visits across Dhaka, Gazipur, Savar, Narayanganj, and Chattogram.
- An existing client network in RMG, textiles, pharma, or e-commerce.
- Experience with overseas agent networks.
- Knowledge of major lanes such as Europe, USA, China, India, and the Middle East.
- Own transport.
- Overseas agent development.
Educational Requirement
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Clearing and Forwarding (C and F) Companies, Freight forwarding, Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Port Service, Shipping, Transportation
