What to Leave Out?

Just as important as what to include, is what to leave out. Modern employers don't want to see:

• ❌ Photo: Not required in most countries (except some in Asia/Europe)
• ❌ Age / Date of Birth: Illegal to ask in many countries
• ❌ Marital Status: Irrelevant to job performance
• ❌ Religion: Not relevant to most jobs
• ❌ Nationality: Unless required for visa purposes
• ❌ Salary History: Can limit your negotiation power
• ❌ Reasons for Leaving: Save for the interview
• ❌ Irrelevant Hobbies: Only if they add value to your application
• ❌ False Information: Never lie on a CV
• ❌ Too Many Pages: Keep it to 1-2 pages
